Day 1:

  • 7:00 am: Pick up from Bagdogra Airport / NJP railway station
  • Bagdogra to Phuntsholing
  • Complete permit formalities (Indian Voter ID or Passport required)
  • Phuntsholing to Thimphu
  • Overnight stay in Thimphu

Day 2:

  • Apply for permits for other places
  • Thimphu sightseeing
  • Visit local markets
  • Overnight stay in Thimphu

Day 3:

  • Dochula pass
  • Punakha Dzong
  • Wandue
  • Overnight stay in Phobjika Valley

Day 4:

  • Explore Phobjika Valley
  • Head to Paro
  • Overnight stay in Paro

Day 5:

  • Chele la pass
  • Haa valley
  • Paro sightseeing
  • Overnight stay in paro

Day 6:

  • Hike to Tiger's Nest (Taktsang Monastery)
  • (2hrs one way, Mules will be available if you don't want to trek at an extra cost)
  • Local market visit
  • Overnight stay in Paro

Day 7:

  • Return to Bagdogra
  • Book your return ticket after 5 pm
Important Information
  • We expect all of out travellers to sample the local cuisine of Bhutan when on the journey.
  • Hike to Tiger's Nest takes about 3 - 4 hours & we expect all our travellers to be in considerable fitness. However, should you not wish to trek up, there are ponies available that can take you to the top.
  • Also, travellers suffering from breathing problems or high altitude sickness, please carry your medication.
  • All the sightseeing mentioned above is subject to availability - consistently good climate availability.
  • Please carry your Passport as well as valid ID proof(Aadhar/Voter's ID/Driver's license etc.). Bring 5 xerox copies of your ID & 5 passport size photos, for permit process.
